home is in the north, interior design event

home is in the north interior design event manchester north west

i’m really looking forward to going to ‘home is in the north’ event in manchester!

the pop up event will take place on Saturday 26th April at hallé St. Peters, from 11am – 4pm.

it will be an amazing chance to see a whole collective of independent interior designers showcasing their beautiful work, including industrial upcycled lighting by greymoose designs, geometric pattern work by charlotte nash and playful ceramics by beth johnson to name a few; there will be something for everybody.

the day will also host a handful of interactive workshops and demos including a ‘create your own art’ workshop with interior blogger Kimberly Hughes of Swoonworthy (my favourite!)

you can purchase tickets for the event in advance at eventbrite for only £3.

HAY DLM vs french connection

tables

i tend to prefer simple furniture; i find it’s easier to style with interesting objects and pattern, than to be stuck with a piece that you’re sick of the sight. these side tables are perfect for switching and swapping between rooms – a must have for people with constant need of interior rotation like me!

left: HAY DLM coffee table. this powder coated steel table is available in range of contemporary muted pastel colours with a lipped tabletop, great for keeping things in place! right: french connection portable side table is made with industrial style metal legs and a wooden tabletop finish to add a natural element to any room.

H&M interior wishlist

candles, cushion, basket, blanket, vase, tray.

H&M is one amongst my favourite highstreet stores for buying homeware, with zara home and wilkinsons. they’ve had a very industrial interior vibe going for a while now which means great pieces for mixing and matching! the wire basket and metal tray are my favourites from this wishlist, and they’re extremely affordable.
